Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon says he and his team-mates must step up before they are replaced in the January transfer window. Boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed he will look to sign some new strikers, but he may look at more options after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Hibernian. Strikes from Vykintas Slivka and Florian Kamberi ensured the Hoops tasted defeat and Celtic have now dropped to third in the Scottish Premiership. Rangers’ win over Hamilton moved them to the top of the table and Gordon has warned the rest of the squad. He made an error during the defeat to Red Bull Salzburg and the 35-year-old is adamant everyone is at risk of losing their place. “It is up to the manager to decide what he wants in the squad and what positions he is looking to improve on,” Gordon said. “The guys that are here have to step up and make sure they are in the manager’s plans, especially leading up to January. “So it is up to us to make sure our performances are good because at a club this big if your performances are not up to scratch for a period of time then you can get replaced.
