Celtic full-back Jeremie Frimpong has returned to training after being injured against Kilmarnock. The youngster hasn’t featured for the Hoops after he was stretchered off from a dangerous tackle courtesy of Kilmarnock’s Alan Power on the 22nd of last month [January]. However, there were initial fears that he might play for the rest of the season, but Neil Lennon gave an update that the full-back will return earlier than expected after he completed his rehabilitation. Reports in Scotland claim Frimpong was pictured training at Lennox town as it appears the Netherlands u-20 international has regained full fitness to make a return to the first-team squad. This is welcome news for Celtic as they head into a busy week in the domestic and European Competitions, and especially with Lennon’s newfound 3-5-2 formation, which has seen the reliance on the full-backs to make attacks.
