Paris St-Germain are open to allowing world-record signing Neymar leave this summer, if the right offer comes in, the French champions have confirmed. The club has also stated they will take ‘appropriate action’ after the Brazil striker failed to turn up for the first day of pre-season training. The 27-year-old was due back at the club’s training ground on Monday but did not appear, heightening suggestions he will leave Paris this summer. Paris St-Germain have revealed that there has been ‘superficial contact’ from Neymar’s former club Barcelona, while fellow Spanish giants Real Madrid could also be in the wings waiting to make a move. “Paris St-Germain notes that Neymar Jr was not in attendance at the agreed time and place. This was without the club’s prior authorisation,” read a statement. “The club regrets this situation.” PSG’s sporting director Leonardo meanwhile told La Parisien: “Neymar can leave PSG, if there is an offer that suits everyone.” Expanding on the contact from Barcelona, Leonardo outlined that the Ligue 1 club must be able to rely on their players. “To date, we do not know if anyone wants to buy it or at what price,” he added. “PSG wants to rely on players
